Qualification :
1. Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration ( small private college)
2. Bachelor in Electronics

Experience :
5 Years in the field of sales and marketing in Siemens

Let me know do I need to do more formal education or what else to get a start in consulting career.

Qualifications whilst useful in some jobs are not required for all. Take Management Consultants, they need people who can observe and be vigilant. A good place to start is with a company such as Alexander Proudfoot, they are global and have been in business since 1946.
