I’m a voracious reader. I read a couple books a week, mainly marketing & business. I have written quite a few articles on business books you should read.
I have set up feedly.com & Evernote to sort through & filter 100’s of blogs & articles into different marketing topics each week. So I can a pick topic, Say the New Facebook Instant Article. Then I can read 20 or so different articles & opinions distilling this info into practical actions I can use to add value to my clients.

I would have watched this at least 5 times

I first Read Permission Marketing about 10 years it changed the way I though of marketing.

David Ogilvy interviewed by John Crichton in 1977. Realized by the American Association of Advertising Agencies AAAA. David is seen as the “pope of advertising”. This is the complete interview version.
“When I write an advertisement, I don’t want you to tell me that you find it ‘creative.’ I want you to find it so interesting that you buy the product.”
This quote is from his book “Ogilvy on Advertisement” A great read I highly recommend reading it.
“Ogilvy on Advertisement” was written in 1983 ,it’s still relevant today. His lessons are timeless in marketing.
